Having been through the care system myself, my dream is to work in the care industry. I like working in a team and I am very patient so I think these skills will help me. Outside of work I like drawing, reading books and swimming.
Specifically, I would love to get into nursing, I’ve always been caring, I just like to give back to the community, like to help people around me. When I needed help I didn’t get it, especially when I was young. I want to help change that for others.
Getting support now, to get a job in a sector I care deeply about, which will then hopefully help me to get a stable home in the long run, means a lot to me. I feel happy, I appreciate it. It’s really kind. For someone like me who doesn’t get support it’s a big thing.
