I've worked in housing since I left university. I used to help people with bidding for social housing so I'm really used to it. I fell on hard times when I lost my job due to redundancy a few months ago. This left me in a position where I couldn't afford bills and payments.
I know I need some income now, but in 2 years I'd see myself being established in a company. Could see myself becoming a team leader in the future as I love supporting other people. I could definitely see myself in a job where I get to mentor or support others as a community engagement or youth worker. My mum fostered children in the past so it's something I've really picked up from her. That would be my perfect job in the future.
Most important to me, is being in a more stable position than I'm in at the moment and I know I just need any sort of stable job to get there.
Outside of work, my kids obviously make me happy - I have a good relationship with their mum which also helps. I also love writing. It brings a lot of joy to me - when I've found myself in a bit of a rut recently it's really helped me get through it to write it down carefully. I like writing poetry and also spoken word.
