I came to the United Kingdom because I had to flee my home country due to war. Since arriving here, my 4 children and I have been living in a small hostel room which has been difficult. My children have seen quite concerning and dangerous situations around the area we live in, so I get very worried about their safety and wellbeing. Also, financially it has been so hard not having a job, and now with the cost of living crisis it's even more difficult, so I am even more keen to start working.
At the moment I have too many things going on and I really need to work, but my dream for the future is to be able to study and be a make up artist. I used to be a computer engineer back home which I hope to go back to one day.
I was never able to find kind people to help me get through this difficult time. So being able to finally see that happening and that people are willing to help me get a job and become independent, is so amazing. I am incredibly grateful!
