Hello, I'm Muhammad. I've had quite a journey, from working as an RF Engineer and Security Guard with the British Forces in Afghanistan to seeking asylum in the UK. What makes me happiest in life is my family and my career. I was trained as an RF Engineer back in Afghanistan, and I've spent 13 years in this sector. I loved my work, but due to the risks in my home country, I had to leave everything behind and bring my family to the UK for safety.
The biggest challenge I've faced wasn't just leaving my home, but also the uncertainty that followed. We spent 10 months in a bridging hotel in Scotland before moving into temporary accommodation. It's been tough, but I try to stay strong for my family. I find solace in interacting with my children and speaking with my wife. Despite the stress, I keep my spirits up by walking and keeping my physical health in check.
My goal with Beam is to find a good job to support my family. I've been applying for jobs recently, and I'm eager to start working again. I can't express how amazing it feels to know that people want to support me in achieving this goal. In two years' time, I see myself in full-time employment, providing for my family. With your help, I believe I can move forward and create a stable life for my family here in the UK.
