Hello everyone, I'm Loni. Life has thrown me a few curveballs recently, and I've found myself in a challenging situation. I've been homeless, and I've struggled with mental health and substance use issues. But I'm not one to let adversity keep me down. I've been focusing on my physical health, walking every day, and I've been speaking with my key workers to manage my mental health. I've also been proactive in applying for jobs, and I'm excited about the prospect of getting back to work.
What makes me happy, you ask? Well, it's not the best time in my life, but football always brings a smile to my face. The biggest challenge I've faced is homelessness. It's tough, but I've learned to cope and I'm determined to improve my situation. My goal with Beam is to upgrade my life. I'm on a course that will allow me to upgrade my driving licence so I can drive lorries. It's a big step towards independence and stability, and I'm excited about the opportunities it will bring.
Knowing that there are people out there who want to support me in achieving my goal is an incredible feeling. Your donations will help me start applying for roles and make my dream of becoming a lorry driver a reality. In two years time, I see myself with a stable job, paying my own rent, and maybe even with a girlfriend. Achieving this goal with Beam will mean the world to me, and I can't wait to feel the joy of knowing I have the support of others. So, thank you in advance for all your help.
