My dream is finding a job where I'm respected for who I am. I want to be able to move to Manchester in the future and pursue my longer-term dream in fashion and dance but I know I need to get started with a stable job first.
I spent most of my teens in care but I found a bit more stability with housing a few years ago. I ended up in arrears because of a mix up with my benefits and working so the last few months have been tough and put me at risk of homelessness.
I want to find something more permanent to avoid this happening in the future - most of the jobs I've had in the past are temporary. For the meantime I want something full time and stable. Even though my housing is a bit more stable, I'm worried another temporary job could cause a similar situation as before.
Longer term, I've always been interested in ballroom culture. As I've become more comfortable with my own identity (I identify as non-binary and use he/they pronouns depending on the situation), I've realised it's where I'd feel totally accepted and comfortable being myself. It'd be my dream to do something around dance or fashion.
