I was studying at university and was supposed to graduate, but I fell pregnant and developed health issues so I couldn’t in the end. I’ve started doing assignments again now, and I’m hoping to graduate in the summer if everything goes well!
Last year was really tough for me - lockdown was so hard, and on top of that my husband lost his job. Later on, he managed to find another job but he had to move away. I was pregnant and I was mainly on my own for a year, even after I had my baby. It was tough feeling so alone. We started to fall into rent arrears last year too around the time when I was pregnant. We received an eviction notice, but luckily we’ve come to an agreement with the landlord to make monthly payments.
I study business at university, so I’m hoping to work in hospitality so I can gain more experience in that sector. I love working with people, so having a role where I’m working with other people will be great for me! My long-term goal is to pass my driving test, own my own business, and then I’d love to buy my own house.
