My aim is to move into a stable home. It’s a fundamental need and right of a human. It should be fulfilled to provide security in the first place and serve society and other people in the long run. Simple things like a hot coconut cappuccino, sunny weather, hugging my son, and walking in the park with my partner make me happy.
“Challenge” is a very gentle word to depict compared to what we’ve been through. My son and I were forced to flee Ukraine due to the ongoing war. Now we're refugees living in the UK under the Home for Ukraine scheme. When the sponsors gave us a notice to move out it turned out that we were invisible in the renting system. We were at the edge of homelessness 3 times the last year. Some landlords have been unwilling to deal with refugees receiving housing benefits. It has been a very difficult time for us, and we're struggling to find a stable place to call home.
Currently, I am in a situation where I need help. I never thought I would be in this position. The fact that someone wishes to donate money to help me and my son is truly heartwarming, and it makes me feel appreciated and grateful. Beam's support boosted my spirit and dignity. It's an incredible feeling.
In 2 years I see myself happily married to a loving and respectful Mr. Right while also focusing on writing my best-selling novel.
