I’ve got three young children - one lives with me and the other two are back home in Nigeria. Things have been very up and down, especially with the increase in the cost of living. I'm just trying to manage as best I can. I want to be able to support my family back in Nigeria but I can't even fully support my family here, and it doesn't make me feel good. I need basic items in the house but I can't afford it. Every day it's one bill after another, and it's really overwhelming. Winter is just around the corner and I can't afford a jacket for me or my son. I feel stressed just thinking about it.
I want to start work as soon as possible. I'd like to work as a carer because I'm passionate about caring for people, and I've got experience too. I'd love to work my way up in healthcare and learn and develop as much as I can. My long-term goal is to work in IT in the future. I love things to do with tech and I'm very passionate about it.
My kids make me very happy, even thinking of them makes me happy. I'm grateful to have them as a support system! Knowing my kids are okay means the world. I'm trying my best to give them the best life possible. I hope I’ll get there one day. Thank you very much for all your support, it truly means so much.
