The last few years have been a series of difficult experiences for me - this started with a fire when I was living in London and became homeless, having to relocate and losing my work placement. I then experienced assault in the accommodation I was placed in and all my belongings were stolen, leaving me with only my educational certificates. It was soul destroying, and a really difficult time. Alongside this, I also experienced harassment from a colleague whilst working as a healthcare assistant and had to leave my career. It's all been so hard.
I am now staying in a shared temporary accommodation with lots of other people, and my goal is to move into my own place so I can have safety and security. I want to work as a waiter, as I enjoy meeting new people, and can work a range of hours. Guidance in life is the kindest donation of all, and Beam have been great at supporting me to develop my interview skills and applications.
I am so grateful to all those supporting me in my journey. You are all kind people who are helpful, and I am honoured to share the experience of life with you. Thank you for helping me get into work, and into a safe home.
