I've had issues with my mental health for nearly a decade, but things escalated recently and I had to leave my job in January as my social anxiety had got worse. My mental health can make everyday tasks quite hard, and I struggle to leave the house on some days, but financially I need to explore how to get back into work again.
I'm starting to understand what types of roles will suit my skills, and my situation, but I think some support and guidance will really help so I can start to put myself out there again. A part-time role will be a great next step, so I can start to build up my confidence and do things gradually, at a sustainable pace.
I've always been a very creative person, so I'd love to use that knowledge on a new path. I have been exploring career routes into floristry, so I'd love to do a qualification to expand my options and work towards a long-term goal. In the meantime though, support with a laptop will be a great starting point, as I am doing everything on my phone right now. With a laptop I can search for jobs, edit my CV, and even look at working from home jobs too.
