I've been working at the same shop for over 15 years, and I was promoted from Cashier all the way up to a Manager. I really enjoyed the team and the customers, but the long hours and late nights were taking it's toll on me. Now, I'm looking for something with a bit of work-life balance, so I can spend time with my family, but also keep some financial independence.
I've done a lot of different roles throughout my career including being a Typist, and Medical Secretary but over the years the machines and technology changes so quickly and I can feel a bit out of touch with digital things now.
My physical health is also a factor at the moment as I've got a few ongoing issues. I will be starting some pulmonary rehabilitation soon, which will be a couple of times a week, and I have some upcoming tests too. However, if I can find a job which fits around all of these medical appointments, where I can also stay seated that would be great, but I may need to just all my ducks in a row for when I'm ready to start a job again.
