I experienced a really difficult few months recently where a lot of things went wrong at once. First, I lost my job. Then my SIA license had run out which meant it was impossible to find employment in the security sector. I was living with a friend at the time until suddenly the landlord asked for the property back. We were only given a month's notice and had to move out. This was not ideal as I did not have enough money to find alternative accommodation.
Thankfully, Bromley council stepped in and helped me into a temporary hostel. Which is where I've been staying for the past month. This has given me the opportunity to complete my SIA badge again. I've passed the course but I'm struggling with the application fee to receive my badge which I need to get into work again.
To boost my chances of finding work and give myself a wider range of roles to choose from I'm also going to complete CCTV training. Once I have my SIA and CCTV badge I will be able to start searching for work again and begin rebuilding a stable lifestyle for myself.
