My children make me so happy! I have three beautiful children, and they’re at the centre of my world. Whenever life feels difficult, I think of my children, and they give me reassurance and make me feel optimistic.
Our housing situation has been very up and down. In the past, we received support from the church, but the church struggled to help us find stable housing, so we had to move. We moved into private accommodation where we rented a room for two years, but I had more children, so I had to move out. I've been living in this current accommodation for three years. The cost of this place is very high, and I have been given several eviction notices to leave several times. So it’s really important for me to find a stable home and find work so I can start paying off the rent arrears.
My long-term goal is to become a manager of a care home. That’s why I’d love to find work as a carer, so I can work my way towards that.
