Growing up in Care, things have never been easy for me and I have had to fight to build a better life for myself. I lived in a hostel and then finally managed to secure a place for me to stay. However, working in warehouses left me wanting more for myself and my future. I ended up losing that job and struggling to pay bills and rent every month.
I decided to enrol in the Konstruct program as a way to get more education and begin a new chapter in my life. I was determined to make this count and one of the companies there noticed my hunger for a new role. I managed to secure an interview and have successfully gotten my new role as a Quantity Surveyor.
I am so thankful to everyone who has been supporting me along the way so I can have a fresh start!
