I initially wanted to go down the traditional route of pursuing education and go to university, but I decided to go straight into full-time employment so that I can support myself. I have a range of work experience from working as a bartender to a retail assistant. Unfortunately the contracts weren’t stable and were either zero hour or casual contracts. I want to go back into working in retail, but I want to have a permanent contract so I won't need to worry about my contract suddenly being terminated.
I've been street homeless for a few months now, but last week I finally found a temporary place where I can stay for three months. I really hope I can find work before I have to leave this place so that I can afford my own accommodation afterwards and not have to worry.
