Since 2013 I've battled with homelessness. I've been doing my best to get by. This involves sleeping wherever I can, including sleeping on buses and open estates. I’ve never had the correct support or help, but thanks to Beam, now I do.
Going to jail was a defining point in my life. I would never want to experience that again but it was an important lesson for me. Since then I've been working extremely hard to get myself back on the right path. It hurts me seeing friends and family lose their lives to the madness happening on the London streets. However, I've used this as fuel to motivate me on my journey. Now I’m a university graduate looking forward to the future.
I'm very ambitious and have big plans for the future. I've started my own business project which I will grow on the side of working full-time to provide a stable income. In a few years time, I want to use the platform I've built to better others' situations. Then begin to set down some roots, buy a house and build a family of my own with my partner.
