Sam's story
I have worked in the manufacturing industry for more than 30 years, but I'm keen to gain some more skills and get back into work. I have had a Counterbalance Forklift licence in the past, so if I can get a Reach licence too that would be great!
I've had issues in the past with heavy drinking, and I have also spent some time in prison. However, whilst I was inside I got some really helpful support from services in there, and I feel my problems with alcohol are fully behind me.
I've been actively applying for warehouse roles for a while now, going to job fairs, and looking for jobs online, so I think any extra forklift tickets will only make me more employable. I appreciate this support, as I couldn't have done it alone.
