What makes me happy is my family. Although this year hasn’t been easy, one of the positives to come out of it is that I’ve been able to spend a lot of time with my children.
We moved into the flat we’re living in now in January. To be honest when we moved in I didn’t realise how expensive it was. At the time I was working so we were doing okay but then the pandemic hit. I had to give up my job because there was no one to look after my kids and that’s when my financial situation started getting worse. Before this I had never had any problems with my housing or paying rent so I’ve found it really difficult.
However now I’m feeling optimistic. Beam is helping me look for supermarket work which I feel will really suit me. I consider myself a friendly person, I love being around people and I love to be busy which I think makes me a good fit for this kind of job. In the future I hope I can progress within a company and hopefully be a manager one day.
I’m so thankful to everyone giving to my campaign. Your support is motivating me to keep trying so I can make you all proud.
