I am a professional chef who loves to cook Italian and French cuisines. I'm also a part-time DJ with a passion for African music. However, what describes me the most is being a family man. Seeing my children brings me the most joy in my life.
Enduring COVID-19 has been a challenging experience. I lost my job as a chef because of it. I was heartbroken. It has been a stressful time trying to find work and pay for my rent. Currently, I am getting help from universal credit, but the payments aren't enough, and my landlord is pressuring me to pay for the rent. Getting a job is really important so I can afford my rent and become more financially stable.
I have previous experience being a Security Guard and will just need to renew my SIA Licence. I enjoy protecting people and making sure the premises are secure, so I'll be great for the role. When I get my first paycheck, I will spend it on a Toyota car so I can see my children more often. They live far away and it has been difficult seeing them during COVID-19.
Once I am financially stable, my dream is to open my own intercontinental restaurant, specialising in European and African cuisines. Also, get back to DJing and playing music in front of a huge audience!
