After coming to the UK from Afghanistan I have found it extremely difficult to find a proper job for myself. When living in Afghanistan, I previously worked my way up to become a Security Guard for the Ministry of Interior Affairs. But now I am in the UK and I struggle to speak very good English, it has been very challenging to secure any type of job.
Now that I have secure housing, my first step will be to start work as a Delivery Driver as it would not only provide me with financial support, but also flexible working hours that would give me more time to work around caring and helping my wife and two children. Once I have completed this and improved my English, in the future, I would like to be trained to work as a Security Guard again so that I can use my skills and be in a job that I enjoy.
I would like to say to everyone who has supported me that once I have secured this job, I would be so happy and grateful to everyone who has played a part in helping me to achieve my goals and aspirations.
