Recently, my housing situation has become incredibly challenging due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. Unexpectedly, I found myself in a situation where I needed to leave my country to save my child's life. The biggest challenge I've faced is not knowing the language, which makes it difficult to find a job, secure an apartment, and communicate with people effectively.
Knowing that people want to support me in achieving my dreams despite the language barrier is both comforting and motivating. The thought of moving into a new property fills me with a mix of excitement that I can take responsibility with starting our life again and creating our new home. Along my way from leaving Ukraine to moving to the UK it has been the small moments of kindness where people have offered support that have really kept me motivated to keep going.
Looking ahead two years, I envision a life with a happy daughter who can finally enjoy the tranquility of our life again and finally be able to look up to a peaceful sky.
