What makes me happy is my children. They are so joyful and full of life and I love being around them.
We're currently living in a flat all together but when I moved in I didn't realise I was going to affected by the benefit cap. This means that all the help I get from the government goes on my rent and there is nothing left for bills or food for my family. I am incredibly focused on finding a job right now as it will change my situation completely.
In the past I have always worked in care environments. For me, it doesn't feel like work because I grew up caring for my family. Beam is going to support me to look for work as a support worker and I'm hoping to work in supported living environments. This means I get to teach people life skills and encourage them to be as independent as possible, which is something I'm really passionate about.
My hope for the future is to be able to treat my children when I have the means to do so. I then want to start working towards becoming a nurse as I feel helping others is my calling in life.
