After the government changed in Afghanistan, me and my family’s safety was at risk so we had to leave and move to the UK. As the head of a large family, moving to a new country has been very difficult as I need to secure a good job to be able to provide for them. I would love to have a job closer to home that makes better use of my experience and skills.
In Afghanistan, I worked as a Security Officer for over 17 years and I am eager to return to this work as it is very important to me. Getting my SIA licence and completing a security training course will allow me to work in the security sector again and secure a job that would not only be better paid but also more fulfilling.
Looking forward, I would love to see my family settled with my children in college and with myself having a stable job that I love. I’m excited about the idea of finding a job as a Security Guard again, and I am grateful for any support to help me fund my training course to get one step closer to my goal.
