Ahmed's story
Life is going OK for me, but I do need a little bit of support. I'm 18 years old, and studying in college, which is going well but I need to find job to do whilst I study.
I've never had a job before so I'm not sure where to begin. I'd love to do security as a long term goal, so I'd be keen to do a role like stewarding or customer service in the meantime to develop my CV and skills.
I've been living in London with a friend sofa surfing for the last few months. My family relocated to Birmingham, and I had to stay behind in London for my course, which is left me in a tricky situation. I'm really keen to find a job, study and have a stable life here. If I earn enough money through work, maybe I can start to rent my own place one day.
