I have lived in the UK for a number of years and enjoy living in this country. I have built a family here. I have three children and a wonderful wife. I have always worked but due to the health of one of my children have only been able to work part-time. My wife is his full-time carer and requires support taking care of our other children. I've continued to work but it's not enough to support my family.
I've always strived to improve my English since coming to the UK. I've stayed dedicated to my ESOL course and my skills are improving. It's important to me as I want to live here for a long time. Now my English is improving and I have more flexibility to work more hours, I want to start building a career.
I want to train as a security guard and use this as a stepping stone to build a secure future for my family. I feel the role suits my skills as I'm organised, patient and dedicated. I have friends who work in the industry so already have a good insight into the demands of the role.
