Between the ages of 18 and 22, it really wasn't a good time for me. I had a difficult relationship with my mum and siblings, and I needed to come to live here in this supported accommodation. I have been here for more than 18 months now, and I appreciated the space and support. However, I have outgrown the space and need somewhere permanent to live now. I have made a friend here, and we are hoping to rent somewhere together soon.
I have worked in hospitality before, but being a barrister is my ultimate goal. I have achieved my degree , and I am hoping to start Law School in January but I would like to start a job now to save some money to move out and get some independence before then. With support from Beam for a laptop and other items, I can use this to look for work, but also for my course if I get onto it next year.
I know I will be a barrister, but I just need to stay motivated. I feel like I am really getting back on track now, and I couldn't be happier. Life is great!
