I describe myself as religious and spiritual. I genuinely enjoy being able to help people and bringing value to people's lives. I've worked as a flight attendant for many years because I'm adventurous and I enjoy exploring the world and interacting with lots of different people. Now I'm looking for a different kind of adventure.
I've been living in hostels in the UK for the last few years while I've been sorting out my immigration status. Things became worse and I had even more challenges last year regarding my Father's health as he had cancer. I left everything I built in England to travel back to Portugal and spend time with him. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stay there for longer than a month because of my immigration status. I don't regret it because I was able to spend quality time with him, but it has made my living situation incredibly difficult.
During this time and during the pandemic, I had time to reflect on my true purpose which is helping people. My favourite thing about working as a flight attendant was learning about how to assist passengers with first aid. I still enjoy challenges and adventures, but now I aspire to be a flight attendant nurse so I can support people who are vulnerable in an unfamiliar environment. I would also like to be a hospital nurse or a carer in a large care home as it's an ever-changing environment that is unpredictable and you can impact a lot of different people.
