Yes - EHR integration is a priority for us. We are actively working to integrate with SystmOne, EMIS, Rio, IEG4, and Xyla, and we’re open to working with any EHR system your teams use. Our goal is to fit seamlessly into your existing clinical workflows, not to add another system to manage.

Every template is built bespoke for your EHR and clinical pathway. We start from your organisation’s best practice and work closely with your clinicians to get the structure, terminology, and outputs right. We’ll iterate it as much as needed until you’re satisfied, including if your form is updated. With any Beam Notes subscription we offer unlimited templates. We also have a Template Centre for ease of managing template requests and iterations.

Clinical safety is fundamental to everything we build. Our Notes product is registered as a Class I medical device with the MHRA, and we are listed on the NHS England AVT Supplier Registry. We hold ISO 27001 certification, NHS DSPT compliance, Cyber Essentials Plus, and are SOC 2 audited. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3), stored on UK-based servers, and is never used to train AI models without explicit consent. We maintain a comprehensive clinical safety case in line with DCB0129 and DCB0160, and all our tools are subject to ongoing clinical risk management.

While most AI tools focus on transcribing and summarising consultations, Beam supports complex end-to-end clinical workflows. Our tools help clinicians bring together information from multiple sources and across agencies and produce the documents that other tools simply can't, including MDT summaries, DST assessments, complex community and mental health assessments, and neurodiversity reports.
