Hello, I'm Sarah. I'm a proud mum to my beautiful daughter, who is growing more independent every day. Her laughter and learning new things bring me so much joy. I also find happiness in reading and contributing to good causes. However, life hasn't always been easy. I've been living with my parents in a very overcrowded house, with seven of us squeezed into a 2.5 bedroom property. My brother is also expecting a baby, which will make our living situation even more challenging. I've always lived here, but now I desperately need to find a place of my own for my daughter and me.
The biggest challenge I've faced so far has been trying to save enough for a deposit and furniture for our own home. The costs are overwhelming and would put us in debt. I'm also dealing with the stress of my housing situation and managing my physical health. Despite these challenges, I've found ways to manage my mental health by working out, reading, eating well, and taking walks to switch off and relax.
I'm currently working full-time as a writer, and I'm so grateful to have a stable income. However, my dream is to move into a stable home where my daughter and I can grow as a family. That's why I've turned to Beam for help. It's an incredible feeling to know that there are people out there who want to support us in achieving our goals. It feels like we have an extended family standing by our side in such difficult circumstances.
