I've always worked really hard, I used to be a mechanic and most recently have done work on building sites. Finding work when you're homeless is really difficult, and losing my passport made things a lot harder too! I'm hoping now I'm living in temporary accommodation and have all my documents in order it will be a bit easier. I'm feeling optimistic, I've always been an optimist even while being homeless.
I'm open to lots of different roles, long-term I'd like to get my CSCS card and work on construction sites but I'm open to starting something else before. I quite like cooking, I used to volunteer in the homeless shelter making food for others. I hope I can one day help more people in the future, I always try and help people. I help translate for people in the temporary accommodation I'm in as I speak a couple of different languages, maybe one day I could work as a translator helping refugees. I'm so grateful that there are people out there who want to help me, it feels really good.
