My dream is to find some peace and stability. Over the last 13 years I have had to move 6 times. This has caused a lot of distress for my sons, who have lost their community each time. I just need to get back into work and be able to afford a place where I can stay long term. I want to get back to my life, to get some stability and have a safe home for me and my family.
Since leaving full time work 4 years ago, every time I have found a job there's been misfortune with my housing, family, the pandemic, always something stopping me from being able to keep working. I am hopeful that with Beam's support I will have the foundations to start work and rebuild a career.
I came to the UK from a very difficult country. I'm fortunate that I have always been helped and where I can, I always help people who need more than me. I accept help with my heart open to receiving and giving back where I can.
The dream job for me would be to become a farmer, growing organic food and having horses. It's a dream I keep having to delay. I am hopeful, however, that getting back into work, alongside my university studies, I can work towards getting an allotment that I can start growing on.
