Rachid's campaign has fully funded! 🎉 A Beam employee is now supporting him on his journey through training and into work as a delivery driver.
But other Beam members need your help. Support the greatest number of homeless people to train up and get into work by giving monthly.
Exciting news! I'm now working as a delivery driver for a supermarket. I've been there for a few weeks and I'm really enjoying the work 🚚
It's odd getting back into the swing of full-time work again but it feels good after all these months waiting to start 🙂
Thanks to all my supporters for their help in getting me here.
Great news! Next week I’m signing the contract to a flat and I’ve been offered a job as delivery driver. This time last year I was rough sleeping and now, most importantly, my smile is back!
I want to thank everyone who donated and Beam themselves; this change in luck means so much to me and I’m finally getting my life back.

Too often homeless people are forced to lie out of sheer desperation. We think it's better when relationships are built on trust and honesty. Beam verifies each member in 4 ways:
1. Referral: every member of Beam is referred by a registered homelessness charity or local authority.
2. Interviews: before their campaign launches, each member is interviewed twice by a Beam Member Manager.
3. References: we take references on each member from the charity who refers them and someone in a position of responsibility.
4. Profile: we take great care to verify information in a member's story is true.
It's your money.
We work hard to ensure that you can give confidently.
A caseworker or "Member Manager" is an employee of Beam who helps those referred to Beam to plan a crowdfunding campaign and supports them through training and into work.
All Member Managers are trained professionals who specialise in supporting vulnerable adults by focusing on their strengths and abilities.
