In June this year, a team from Erevena are taking on the Jurassic Coast challenge, a 63km hike over hills, descents & coastline, climbing over 1,500m in total from Poole to Weymouth to raise funds for an incredible charity.
We are raising money for Beam, a UK crowdfunding platform for the homeless, helping their members raise the funds required for professional training to suit their individual talents and experience, and gain long-term employment in the process. Described as “one of the most promising digital innovations in homelessness of recent years”, it works by taking on members recommended by partner homeless charities, helping them decide what training to pursue, setting up their online crowdfunding on the Beam website, and paying fees directly to training organisations once individual campaigns reach their targets.
Any donation no matter how small is hugely appreciated by us all and will make a difference to every individual supported by Beam.
