TheDrug.Store has partnered with Beam - an amazing tech platform that crowdfunds employment training for homeless people, so they can sustainably support themselves.
250,000+ adults in the UK are homeless or living in temporary accommodation. Us at TheDrug.Store and the team at Beam believe in the potential of everybody and the power of stable employment to help people achieve independence. Beam supports people to become everything from plumbers and electricians, to beauticians and accountants.
Over the next three months, we will donate 25p per order and encourage all of our customers to help us reach our goal of £3000 - whether that is through placing an order with your favourite products, or donating directly to our fundraiser. This money will fund the training of homeless Londoners, and Beam will provide support for the start into their new careers.
You can follow the journey of each person that was supported with this fundraiser into work! Beam will send photos and updates and you can express your support. You even get your own impact KPIs too.
